ANXIETY, as described in the image to the right can lead to uncomfortable symptoms, even up to the point of a “Panic Attack”. There are two common treatments, medical and through therapy. I CANNOT help with medicines or prescriptions - you must talk to your GP about those.
Psychotherapy (CBT)
Also known as talk therapy or psychological counselling, psychotherapy involves working with a therapist to reduce your anxiety symptoms. It can be an effective treatment for anxiety.
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is the most effective form of psychotherapy for anxiety disorders. Generally a short-term treatment, CBT focuses on teaching you specific skills to improve your symptoms and gradually return to the activities you've avoided because of anxiety.
CBT includes exposure therapy, in which you gradually encounter the object or situation that triggers your anxiety so you build confidence that you can manage the situation and anxiety symptoms.
I would listen to your feelings and experiences before, so we are both aware and ready to continue.
In-depth vetting is important, as is teaching you coping mechanisms that are best suited to your triggers.
